AIKEN, S.C.---University of South Carolina Aiken has a new disc golf course. The idea was a vision from a previous student government president at the university. It took nearly a year and a half for the idea to take shape golf lessons aberdeen. "I've taken every bit of my degree, and I use it all."Best of the best is what Callahan got. County residents to face higher fees

The Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to increase charges for items ranging from golf course greens fees to the bill from the county coroner for handling a dead body. As the county struggles with cuts at the federal and state level and its own deficit, several department heads asked the board to approve fee increases to allow them to recoup more of their costs. Greens fees on county golf courses have been the same since 2009, but operating costs have gone up 10 percent, according to the Department of Parks and Recreation. Those fees are, on average, 25 percent less than the average at other public, municipal courses in Southern California, county staffers said. By unanimous vote, the board agreed to increase greens fees by $1 on weekdays and $2 on weekends lessons drills.

The county coroner's fee for body handling and transport will go up from $200 to $312.12, to cover some of the department's costs. Fees will be waived for the indigent, parents of a child 14 years old or younger, and those whose loved one was the innocent victim of a crime. The change gives the coroner authority to increase the fee up to $400, if necessary. Other fee increases will affect highway and sewer construction permits, and plan checks and inspections related to flood control. ATLANTA -- After thirty days a man who had "fallen off the face of the earth", according to his family, has been found. Cobb County native Robby Cole, age 46, is at Grady Hospital according to his brother.Robby Cole made a reputation as a golf pro. Five years ago he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, according to his brother Clete Cole lessons drills. The inaugural Spartanburg County boys golf tournament will tee off at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Ridge.Boiling Springs, Broome, Byrnes, Chapman, Chesnee, Dorman, Gaffney, Landrum, Oakbrook Prep, Spartanburg, Spartanburg Christian Academy and Spartanburg Day will be the teams competing. Gaffney was invited to the tournament due to Woodruff declining an invitation.Four groups of three teams will pair up for the tournament lessons drills. Two groups will tee off on the front nine, while the other two will start on the back nine.Boiling Springs will be the host for this year's tournament. Bulldogs coach Rick Tate said the tournament was created partly due to expense issues.“Naturally with school budgets being what they are, we decided on a county tournament to help with travel expenses. It worked really well.”Tate said the winning team would receive a travel trophy. The top eight individuals will be named to the all-county team.Tate said all participating schools are excited about competing for both the trophy and bragging rights.“Everybody has really jumped on board,” he said. “The three private schools were really pleased to be invited and compete against the public schools. THIS is the first of what will become a weekly update on golfing attractions and activities within and outside Harare in independentsport. The results of the tournaments will be published on Tuesday in our sister paper, Newsday. Tomorrow sees Royal Harare Golf Club hosting the Curry Cup, an annual golf tournament pitting The Cowboys against The Indians youtube golf lessons.
